Ergonomics and Posture advice

When we use equipment that has not been adjusted to suit us or work inefficiently we can become vulnerable to injury. The most common factors associated with injury are sustained repetitive movements, using prolonged muscle effort to do a job and keeping still for prolonged periods. Over time these factors can combine to generate pain and aggravate existing conditions causing further debilitation.

At ActionPhysio we believe that poor posture is an underlying cause of many back and neck problems. Postural training is therefore an important part of your treatment and can include assessing posture both at work and during functional activities.
